Layer up, Fall is here!

Fall is here. My favorite season of the year. I love dressing up in fall, because it involves layers and dark lipsticks. This month I will bring you my favorite way to wear and have fun with jackets, vests and coats, Also, how you can wear your summer trends and outfits in fall.

For today's outfit, this is my go-to fall look. It's simple, casual yet makes you look like you've put some effort. Take a simple pair of jeans and a tee, layer it with your denim shirt. It's that simple! If you try this combo, share it on Instagram using #MyNeonishLife, and tag me @MyNeonishLife. I would love to see your interpretations.

Stay tuned, on how to make your own chokers.

Christmas colors for summer, hell yeah!

This is one of the other outfits that I wore on my trip to Nashville, I love these Palazzo pants from Zara. They are amazing to wear day or night. Very breezy, trendy and bright. I am also loving this new trend of cut work cotton tops and dresses. Another great summer must-have.

As much as I despise the summer heat and no matter how much I am looking forward to the fall weather. I am really going to miss wearing my off-shoulders and culottes and whites and colors. I know I can't have everything I want!! :)

Back being boho!

Hello Ladies, I know I am writing after a long time.... I have been really busy and also in a funk, more like suffering from a creative block. Somedays, you just don't even want to get out of the couch...  Do you guys ever go through this?? (Hopefully, it's not just  me) And then I have my besties who really push me and politely tell me "To get my s*** together". I am so grateful to have such a strong support system!! So here I am, refreshed and back after a good (almost) 2 weeks break.
Last weekend, I also went to Nashville along with my friends and we had an amazing time. I will blog about Nashville in the coming weeks. So keep your eyes peeled.

So coming back to my outfit, I am a "Boho" girl at heart. I love the undone, flowy, effortless style. This was one of the outfits that I wore on my trip to Nashiville, It was warm and sunny- so along with keeping the heat at bay, it also made me feel like a boho queen!

Shake your Pom Poms!!

I am in love with the new trend this season, it's the Pom Pom Sandals...  I first spotted them in Zara and they were close to $100.... When something is trendy and flashy, I usually don't like to spend a ton of money on them because they usually last just one or two seasons. So I thought - why not just make my own? So, I made them. It's an extremely easy DIY project and anyone can do it, You can make this with your kids, I am sure they will have fun with all he colorful Pom Poms.

To make the Pom Pom Sandals, you will need:
1. A pair of any plain shoes, sandals, gladiators. These are pretty good for $20 or these  for $16
I bought mine from TJMaxx. Cost: $20. You may also use any sandal that you may already have.
2. Pom Poms, I bought mine from Amazon Pepperell Assorted Pom Poms, Hot Colors, 300 Per Package Cost: $7
3. Needle and Thread, I started stitching the poms poms to my slippers, but they took way too long. So I used my hot glue gun and they were done in less than 10 minutes.
4. Hot glue gun (I already had this one at home)

Total cost: $27

Back with Black

My last week has been chaotic, stressful and fun planning our housewarming. When it comes to planning an event I tend to get over-ambitious and go over-board, it's actually a sickness and I can't help it. I guess it's genetic, my mom has it and so does my sister. But at the end it is all worth it.

After the long one week break, Here I am back with my outfit posts, another post, that shows and proves my obsession with culottes. And the obsession is for a reason, well, several reasons:
1. They are extremely trendy
2. They are comfortable
3. They can be worn for work or weekend, from day to night!!

I wore this to work, tried to keep it simple with a plain top, a simple long necklace and my Tote bag.
